The Echlinville Distillery Tasting
Dunville's Irish Whiskey was one of Ireland’s popular brands in the 18th century but ceased production in 1935 partly due to the decline in American exports during prohibition. In 2014, The Echlinville Distillery revived this brand and have done a remarkable job in releasing plenty new expressions!
Waterford Whiskey Society on 22nd of October will welcome Echlinville brand ambassador Jarlath Watson and he going to treat us with exceptional lineup of their whiskeys. On our evening we will be cracking the seal of Dunville's VR whiskey 18 Year old Single malt finished in cask that previously nurtured an exceptional 41 year old Demerara Rum from the last surviving double wooden pot still.
We have decided to raffle amazing Dunville's whiskey presentation box in which Demerara rum sample. Alongside a replica of an original Dunville's mirror, the box also includes a book detailing the history of the brand from its birth in 1808 until its rebirth at Echlinville Distillery.
