The Waterford Whiskey Society is delighted to announce that their fifth tasting for 2023 will take place at THE REVOLUTION BAR in Waterford as well as online over ZOOM on Tuesday the 30th of May at 7:30 pm.
This month we turn our attention to an international distiller, Paul John from Goa in India. Established in 1996, John Distilleries grew to be a leading Alco-Bev company, not just in India but across the globe as well. The company owns a strong portfolio of brands across various categories including Whisky, Brandy, Rum, Premium Wines and Single Malts.
The distributor in Ireland is Hi-Spirits and we are delighted that Ian Doogue their Senior Business Development Manager and also a member of our society will lead the tasting for us. This is a great opportunity to taste something different and will give you a perspective on what Single Malt Whisky tastes like from a totally different country and climate.
